Had computer problems and had reloaded some software and
wiped out some setings (in a dll). since then I can no
longer see any picture on my browser that isn't MGI
Photosuite. All previously stored jpg and gif images on my
computer show properties as MGI Photosuite. There is
no "Open with" tab on any of them. It is as if MGI has
taken over my computer - it works, but I cannot see any
images on net (shows box with an x in corner) HELP PLEASE

There will not be an Open With tab if a file type is associated with
an application, though you can get one if you hold the Shift key down
and rightclick a selected file)

If you don't want to use MGI to open them, then use something else.
Change it in File Types.

Explorer-View-Folder Options-File Types
The path to Folder Options may vary according to your operating
system. It may be:
Explorer-View-Folder Options
Explorer-Tools-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Control Panel-Folder options.

This is unlikely to have anything to do with the red x problem.
Start here for that.
