Hi can anyone help - The pictures link does not work whan i click on it. I
cant find any detials in right click/properties - there are no tabs to change
location. Ive typed shell:pictures and nothing comes up. I think this links
to installing a 2nd hard dive on a network that had a my pictures fodler.
System restore does not change either. How can i ge the pictures button
working again from the start menu?

Right click on the Pictures link & go to Location tab to see where the folder
is actually located. C:\user\name\pictures is the default. You need to go to
that folder, right click on it and change the location of your pictures.

Hi there is no location tab on the folder when right clicking - I only get
the general tab with no location showing and no size on disk or creation date
etc

In the Registry Editor, what is the path for the My Pictures data in

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders?

(The default is "%USERPROFILE%\Pictures".)

I have exactly the same problem but the solution that Dean-Dean wrote didn't
work for me.

I went to the registry and sure enough it had an incorrect location (on
networked drive) I changed it to: %USERPROFILE%\Pictures but still doesn't
work

Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks in advance
