Start Menu - Pictures Button does nothing

On the right panel of the start menu when I click on the pictures button
nothing happens. When I look at the pictures button "properties" there is no
information so there is no link indicated to the pictures folder (which,
alond with my other data is in partition D: on my HDD). How can I re-link the
start menu picture button again. I can't do it through properties as there is
no information here.

The default location is: desktop\xxxxxx\pictures where xxxxxx is your
user name you log in under.

So go to Windows Explorer look for the Desktop folder, expand, you
should see a folder with your user name, expand, and there should be a
sub folder called pictures. This is special folder. If your remap it
or move it, all bets off, but you should still be able to locate and
link to it. How? You were almost there. Click on properties again on
the picture button and change to the location tab from where you can
edit the path to whatever.
