Pictures Displaying problem

can anyone tell me why ie canot display pictures.. some pictures appear but others are represented by a big red X

Go to Internet Options in the Control Panel > Advanced >
Scroll to Multimedia and make sure Show Pictures is
enabled.
If this doesn't work try the following..
