Pictures won't display

When I open up my internet explorer, pictures are not
displayed, only red x's.......My picture display box is
x'd off.....Anyone with any ideas on what I can do to fix
this problem?...Thanks

I also have the "red-x" problem. I don't have the answer-
but a follow-up. But in addition I get this:

"Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you
requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable."

Some web site all the time, some are perfect. Any
suggestions??? It's driving me crazy!
