As you know, in ms access there many pictures (bitmap) that we can embbed in
the button.

My qustion is:

1. How can I add my personnal pictures? I know we can link for external
file. Is it possible create and add a picture to the button without link?
2. How can I add picture and text into the butonn?

Thanks

When you're in the Picture Builder for the command button (through clicking
on the ellipsis to the right of the Picture property), click on the Browse
button.

The other half of the answer is, you can't have both a picture and text on a
button... well sort of.
The picture takes up the space the caption would be in. There are two
options. One is to put the text in the picture. The other is to create a
label just below the button that gives a text representation. You can make
the background transparent and put it on the button, but the problem with
this is that when the button has the focus, the label goes behind the button
and can't be seen.

Thanks,

Probably, is much better to create a picture with a text.
The procedures that douglas told me, the picture is linked to external file.
Is it a away to embebed a picture like access original picutures, I mean,
without links?

Thanks

I did what you told me, but the picture was linked to external file. This
procedure I knew. I would like create a new picture into the buttonn without
link. is it possible?

As access original pictures that we can add to the button.

thanks

Change the Picture Type property to embedded.

I change the property to embedded and then I delete the external file.
I open the form and the picture is still there.

I try to the same picture for the other button but is not available. It's
true?
Why can i not delete the link path and replace (picture) as the picture from
ms access?

thanks.

Are you saying that you embedded file1.bmp for a button, deleted file1.bmp
and then tried to use the same image (from file1.bmp) for a second button?
Of course that isn't going to work: the file has to be there in the first
place for you to embed it.
