Picture thumbnails

On creating my latest photo folder when I enter pictures
into it instead of getting a thumbnail of the picture
when I open the file, I get a standard icon of a sailboat.

In all the other folders in my photo album show me
thumnails of the pictures in them upon opening.

While in that folder Click the views icon on the toolbar and choose
thumbnail.

go to view and select thumnails it should open in them
all the time

.if not go to control panel select folder options select
view tick the box remember each folders view
settings,that should do the trick.
