Picture resoultion

I would like to know "How would i change picture resoultion on a picture that is already saved on a floppy disk? The resoultion is set at 1 and i need to set at 150. Please respond. Thank You!
 
What software is telling you that the resolution is 1...? You just open the
picture in any image editing software and make the change.
