After starting my computer with Windows XP, just after
the Windows XP loading screen and just before the User
Log On screen comes up, a picture shows up. This was a
picture I had used with a desktop changing program, I
have since uninstalled the desktop changing program and
the associated pictures, however every time I turn my
computer on this picture still shows up. Can anyone tell
me how I can get rid of this picture?

Hi Sean,

Check what is listed here: Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop. In the right pane change to path
to Wallpaper.

I think I changed this correctly, but still no good.
The only place I see this picture is just before the User
Log-on, but once I logon I have a standard Windows
desktop picture.
