Picture and Fax viewer

After downloading photos from camera, I burned a CD. When
after viewing the CD using the Picture and Fax viewer, I
could not eject the CD from the CD drive. Had to shut
down and restart the system to get the CD drive to
operate. This was repeatable. Even burned a second CD
and confiremed with it. CD works fine on other machines.

Open My Computer, Right click on your CD drive.
Click on Properties. Click on the Recording tab and check the box
"Automatically eject CD...."

Been there, check box was checked. Tried un-check - no
go. re-checked - no-go. Maybe this app needs reloading?

Hi there,

To force windows to accept the changes...reboot after un checking and then
check it again.

If all else fails, you could try uninstalling the drive then reboot and let
windows re-discover it. That might cause proper configuration to occur
