I'm amazed that I, of all people, am the first (?) to break the news that
Picasa 2 is available for download, effective this morning. If someone
would tell me how to post a url I will or would have done so. I assume you
all know that Picasa is digital image editor organizer purchased by Google
some six months ago, transformed from payware to freeware and is now
available in a second edition.

I went to http://www.picasa.com/ and see where it says "A free software download from
Google". Question is it a free "download" or is the software "freware" ??

I have DLed several free "download" which endup being shareware and thought I would check
with you people before I DL this and see if it actually is freware.
