Photosmart 1000 won't install

I have been unable to install photosmart P1000 printer,
I've downloaded the latest drivers from HP but I get a
message that it is unable to install printer drivers

a) Ensure you're logged on as an Administrator when you install

b) Ensure the print spooler is started - at the command prompt type: net
start spooler (and remember to hit enter).
