photoshop templates and transferring into frontpage

I created a template in photoshop and I have tried to make it into a web but
I ran into quite a few problems, the main problem is i selected the graphic
and made it the backround and for some reason the image is tiled soo instead
of having this templates its an image that repeats itself. the image only
repeats itself going left to right. So I wascurious if anyone knew how I
could use photoshop templates in frontpage effectivley, maybe someone knows a
website that shows how to use photoshop templates or anything at this moment.

Background images will repeat, that's the way it works in html. You can
use CSS to make it not repeat and posion it on the page.
