Photos/pictures in emails

When we receive emails with photos, cartoons, or other
pictures in them, and we forward those emails, the email
text arrives but the photos or cartoons don't. Anyone
help me with this? Thanks.

Deb,

It's considered bad taste to forward these things willy
nilly, not to say dangerous because it's a good way to
spread virus'.

Using what mail client? Outlook Express?

Test the various 'forwarding' options, if they exist. Been some years
since I tested O.E.

You might also save the attachments - photos, cartoons, etc. - and then
attach them to a new mail message.

If you are using Outlook, not Outlook Express, format as text or HTML. if
you format as Rich Text, you can't send photos. Dunno why, but I did see a
note, maybe in this NG, about this, and it works for me.
