photos in desk top

how can I delete photos in desktop that were put there-----
I don't know what I did to put them there but now I want
them moved.

By design...all images that are saved in your *My Pictures*
folder will be available in your Desktop Background list.

If you move the images from your My Pictures folder to
a new location...the images will no longer be in the list.
