Photo Story 3

I'm totally confused. I use Outlook Express to post questions. I posted this
questions 3 times yesterday and it never appeared. I finally just posted a
TEST and it did appear? Anyway, I finally decided to access the message
boards via MS and lo and behold by posts appear here!! However, I have
received no answer. Can anyone help me on either question ( posts and
photos). Thanks!

I just created pictures in Photo Story 3. I added captions to the photos.
When I play them in full screen mode, I cannot see the captions. Is there a
way to set it so that I can?

Your messages did appear yesterday, possibly
something happened in your area that prevented
you from downloading them. I saw a report from
a couple of other folks who had the same issue
and today their messages were visible to them.

If the issue continues, you may need to do some
maintenance in Outlook Express.
Tools / Options / Maintenance tab / Cleanup
now button......Reset / Compact...
You'll have to re-download all your messages.

As for the question about captions. Please
explain how you are viewing the PhotoStory.
Are you using a wide screen monitor? Are
you using the most recent video driver from
the mfg. of your video adapter?

John, I'm using WMP in full screen mode. If I could drop the bottom bar, I
could see the captions. That bar does fall for just a second when I open WMP
for but then it comes back up. Thanks for the explanation on Outlook Express
positngs. I will check my settings and do another test.

If you place your pointer near the center of
the screen and release the mouse...the bars
should dissappear.

Thank you John. I'm using someone else's PC but I will try it when I get
home. Btw, I followed your directions for cleaning up Outlook Express but my
posts are still not appearing. I cannot do the last step however. When I try
"compress" it says OE is being used by another program? I've tried that
function before and I always get that message. ????
