photo printing

Please help! -- I have an HP 2410 photosmart that used to print terrific pictures. For some reason all of my pictures now print very dark -- printing the same picture now that I printed 2 months ago comes out way too dark now
Changing the print cartridges doesn't help. And it doesn't matter what photo program I use to print from (HP Gallery or BreezeBrowser or Adobe Photoshop Elements 2)
I recently installed Photoshop -- did I change my printer settings by mistake when i installed it?
Can anyone help

It may be worth a try to run the Print Head
cleaning utility but you probably need to
update your printer driver.

There is a driver at the following link for the
HP 2410 Photosmart dated 2004-03-18
version 3.5.0...if this driver is more current
than the driver you are now using, it may be
worth a try to download and install it:

(BTW, there's also a link you can click at the
following site to find out if you need an update)

As you can see at the following link, there are
three 2410 models, but I suspect they all use
the same driver.
