Photo and Fax Viewer glitch

Hello. I've read all your Q&As, but my problem isn't mentioned. When I
click on a photo in My Pictures, the Photo and Fax Viewer says it's open, but
the quick and wonderful index of editing options that used to open on the
right margin (crop, color, saturation, resize, etc.) isn't there any more.
The only option seems to be PAINT, for which I have no use. Some months ago
I downloaded the entire Vicman free suite, then axed it because it was
intrusive. However, in September I downloaded a Trial version of Office
Standard 2007. The problem began about a week ago and I'm stymied. Is there
a connection between/among these actions and my problem, or am I in the wrong
church AND pew? Thank you, thank you for your assistance.

I don't know which program you were using for
your image editing but it was definitely not Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer.

Do you have any MS Office programs installed...
other than the 2007 trial?
