How do you insert a pause into the phone number - it used
to be a W, then several commas, but now nothing works. I
want to incorporate a predialing service that has to be
accessed before dialing the actual number.
Help is appreciated. Heinz

With what? Modem? Phone Tools? Help Center tools? You gotta
learn how to ask questions, I think.

At any rate, there are a couple of basic possibilities:
-- Read your documentation/ Help files.\
-- Use looking for a second dialtone
-- Use a pause long enough to insure that the other end is ready
to receive digits. Usually a second or so is long enough.
