PHONE DIALER: doesn't disconnect promptly

That guy.

It seems to take forever for Phone Dialer to hangup and release the line.
Is it some hardware problem? Or do I have to configure something
differently?
 
Is there another group that I should post this to? I know not many people
use Phone Dialer anymore.
