Phone Dialer audio

wms \(removethis\) farm

Can't Phone Dialer caller or outside audio to come through
the PC speakers. Mic is working and speakers work with
all other applications. I am using a dialup connection
with a external 56K modem. I have adjusted the volumn on
the modem with no different results as to the audio output
problem. The audio driver is "VIA AC'97 Audio Controler
[Wave]".

Have you installed any software designed to make your modem and computer
into a speaker phone? The dialer is only a dialer.
