Hi there, i am running win xp homw on a toshiba m100
my problem is the following:
i installed TOR (onion) a while ago to test it, then i started
encountering networking problems after removing it. navigation
suddenly stops in webbrowsers (moz or ie7) but other programs keep
doing just fine (msn, skype etc...).
I checked ipconfig and it shows that eventhough I removed TOR, there
are some leftovers and I have two "Tunneling Pseudo Interface Cards"
showing up.
I cannot see them in the peripherals manager, even if i check the
option show hidden peripherals ( i tried

set DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1

start devmgmt.msc

in a .bat file)

anyone has an idea how to remove those NICs ?

thanks for your help

i found the solution
these are part of ipv6
simply remove ipv6

start
run
cmd.exe
ipv6 uninstall
reboot
