Personal web server

I want to set up a FTP server on my computer, so that I can
share files over the internet. I want it to have to secure connection.
Is there a guide for this somewhere? I can find one.
 
Obtain "BTFTP Server" and "No-IP", two essential programs for such a
thing....

that is how I do it....
