Persistent crashing

Hi everbody,

I've been using WMM for about 6 months now and I really thought I'd seen it
all regarding problems and crashing, but now I have encountered a problem
that is new and will not go away. I was making a music video and everything
was going fine until I had about 15 seconds worth of clips. I played it back
to see if my timing was right and around 8 seconds into the video it crashed.
So I started WMM up again and it crashed after 8 seconds again. And did so
every time I restarted WMM and tried to play the video. I've already
restarted my computer 3 times and even attempted to make the video again in a
new file. Nothing so far has worked and it is driving me crazy.

Has anybody had this problem before? Can someone please help me?

Thanks, I checked it out, but all the codec stuff was just way too confusing
for me. I tried the System Restore, but after it was done all my imported
files in WMM were gone. I reversed the Restore, but they're still gone.
However, maybe re-importing everything will solve the problem, because I have
a feeling that it might have been a particular clip that was causing the
trouble, because every time I had added that clip and tried to replay my
video it crashed. So... I'll just import everything again and see how it
goes. Thanks for trying to help, though!

I suspect this is a variation of the problem I have which is the same but it
says it needs to close as soon as it opens, this is the second time it has
happed to me, you might like to try your system restore feature and turn the
clock back on your machine, I almost guaranteethat it will be fixed if you go
back far enough.
