I just set up my brand new hp pavillion, loaded XP Home edition & Frontpage
2000 & tried to create a new web but the computer is asking for name &
password to access my computer & won't let me create a new web or even a
page until I have one, or even search for a web anywhere else on my system.
I didn't set up any passwords with this new computer - just my SystemSuite 5
firewall. On the old computer, Frontpage 2000 didn't ask for name &
password until publishing time. Any ideas??? - Lisa K

Hi Lisa,

Was your old web a Disk Base Web (DBW) or a server based one? If the latter, XPH does not allow for the hosting of a web server.
