permanently removing programs

Hi, help please - I had Sage accounting program installed, mucked it up and
decided to remove and reinstall to get rid of unwanted figures. Removal went
OK, but on re-installation the figures were still there. Installed it on a
clean PC and there were no stray figures there, so somehow despite apparent
removal, the program is still on the original PC. How do I get rid of it?

It may not be removing created database files, I would contact Sage support
for assistance. You can also try manually deleting the install directory
after you uninstall it.

I'm a bit new to this - where would I find the install directory please?

Usually C:\Program Files\xxxx. It should have showed you the full path
during the install. A guess would be C:\Program Files\Sage
