Permanently inserting pictures in the email body

When I drag a picture (jpg gif etc..) into outlook it makes it an attachment.
I want to show the picture instead of attaching it. How do I set it to
permanently do this?

Set Outlook to use HTML to compose messages.
Open the image in Internet Explorer.
Then copy the image to the body of the email.

Yes, and its very annoying. I certainly get email from others that
pictures imbedded in the text, I've been trying for months to figure
out how solve this problem so that we can have a choice. The ONLY way
I have found is ackward: 1) R click on the photo you want, 2) Choose
Open With and then 3) Select MS Photo Editor; 4) Copy from MS Photo Ed;
5) Paste to the text part of your email; 6) Resize the photo which is
usually way too big. NO, not smooth at all. Please let me know if you
get this and if you find anything that works better.

Why not use the Insert | Picture command?

This works if you have one picture. But what if you have more than one
picture? It would be annoying to keep doing this one at a time. Any
suggestions?
