To solve a problem I am instructed to delete all files in C:\Documents and
Settings\Ron Patterson\Local Settings\Temp. I have deleted all the files
except Perflib_Perfdata_790.dat. This will not delete. Says it is
in use by another program. The only program I found running in Task Manager
was the one I was usiing - Windows Explorer. I then searched the entire C
drive for this file and found nothing!
What is this and should I - can I - delete it. Why does it not show
anywhere. How can it be running?
Thanks from,

If a file is in use, work around it. Various monitors in XP will create
these files as needed. If found, you can usually delete all except those
created within the current session.
