Help! (Accidentally posted this in the wrong topic before.) I have Windows XP
Home Edition. Trying to install Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 (standard.) It
needs to install Visual C++ 8.0 Runtime for DNS. That installation keeps
failing.
It says that there's some sort of pending installation/ reboot, and that I
need to reboot and complete that installation.
As far as I know, there are no pending installations. I've rebooted several
times, and it didn't help. Still doesn't work.
How the heck do I find and cancel any pending installations?
I don't have the knowledge to mess around with the registry if it can be
avoided. But if I have to, so be it.
