Any reccommendations for an app to convert pdf to either/both rtf or doc.

Any reccommendations for an app to convert pdf to either/both rtf or doc.

this conversion is not possible, because a pdf doesn't contain
text generally. pdf never contains any structure information
(i.e. paragraph formatting)

Best results: Print to a 200dpi bitmap file and input this into a
OCR software. OCR software is specialized to recognize structure
information from unstructured files.

Another way: There are pdf editors around for minor text changes.

Please have in mind: You usually get a pdf version of an
document, because the document owner doesn't want you to change
the doc.

Print the PDF to PaperlessPrinter
(http://www.rarefind.com/paperlessprinter/downloads.html) and choose
RTF.

The result appears to be every line or element like a URL are stuck in
a new textbox.

This is of course not the most happy result, but then again, I don't
know what you are trying to convert.

And some lines are too short so you can manually correct, line by line.

Also Adobe Reader 7.0 and maybe some earleir version, have a choice on
the file menu, that lets you "Save as test" a file, extracting out the
text. You can then of course fix the formatting in your word processor.
