Looking for a command line print utility that will print .doc, .rtf, .pdf to
any windows printer, including Adobe Distiller. Need to print thousdands of
rtf files to printer, and then convert to pdf. Compatible with 2000, XP,
2003, Vista

Modify the code in the article "Find & ReplaceAll on a batch of documents in
the same folder†at:

http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/BatchFR.htm

so that it prints each document and then closes it.

Doug,
I was looking for a program to do this automatically. Something that would
watch a directory then print.

"watch a directory" for what?

Word does not have that ability without manual intervention.
