Using Adobe Acrobat you can SAVE AS and then choose rtf format.
Huh? In Acrobat (reader) ver 6, you can save as text. In ver 5 you can
only save as pdf. I don't remember ver 4 for sure, but I don't think
it had an rtf option.
If you're talking about the commercial acrobat package, that can
probably save as rtf, but that's hardly freeware.
There are a few packages that can convert pdf to either text or html
format, see pdf2txt at
http://www.simtel.net/pub/pd/51612.html (it's
on the pricelessware page). Or PdfToHtml at
http://pdftohtml.sourceforge.net/. This is a command line program,
there is a windows gui for it at
http://www.wminds.com/downloads/pdf2htmlgui/.
I haven't used either of these myself, but they have been mentioned
here in the past.
