.pdf files not printing

When I print from an adobe .pdf and print document is clicked from the print
dialog box, a screen comes up to save the file to a Microsoft Document
Imaging format (.mdi). When Save is clicked The files are saved and a
Microsoft Document Imaging screen opens and after selecting pages to be
printed and clicking print the loop starts all over again and the Save-As
dialog reappears to save the file as an .mdi file. What is going on?

Seems Microsoft Document Imaging has managed to set itself as the Default
Printer.

Go into the Control Panel, click on Printers & Faxes and set the Default
Printer to something more appropriate... like a REAL printer. (right click
on the real printer of your choice and select Set as Default)
