PCMCIA UNKNOWN_MANUFACTURER

I have a Motion M1300 Tablet PC and it recently came back from having the motherboard changed out from a PIIIM 800mhz to a Centrino 900mhz. Since it came back, every time I put a memory card in the PCMCIA slot it displays a message saying PCMCIA UNKNOWN_MANUFACTURER. I have tried uninstalling the PCMCIA bus (O2MICRO OZ6912 CARDBUS CONTROLLER), then re-booting so it re-installs - but still no happiness. I even tried loading a generic driver for the PCMCIA card, but all this achieved was locking up the PC.

The PCMCIA cards work 100% OK in all other PCs I have.

Anyone have any ideas / suggestions? I'm completely at a loss as to a fix.

Thanks to all
