PCI Driver

I had to reinstall Windows 2000 because my desktop became
corrupted. Everything is running great with one
exception - I have no sound - Under device manager in
properties, the following 3 items under "0ther Devices"
have a ? with the message that a driver is needed - I
tried loading from my Windows 2000 backup disk but these
drivers can not be found. Where can I find these
drivers? I can not find them on Microsoft's site.

Multimedia Audio Controller
PCI Input Device
PCI Simple COmmunications Controller

I would be grealy appreciative for any help - this is the
first time I've used this newsgroup.

Thanks

What kind of computer is it. Go to the website of
whatever computer make you have, enter you computer make
and model and download the drivers for your sound card.
I'm assuming its a built in sound card.

If its a sound card you installed, find the driver disk
and install the drivers.

Thanks - I thought it was solved through the operating
system, not the computer maker.
