PCAnywhere comes with a user manual and Help files. You should take the
time to familiarize yourself with the product. Briefly, you will need
to do these things to work with pcAnywhere:

We will assume two computers:

1. The target computer must have a static IP address or someone will
have to be at the target computer to let the connecting person know
what the IP is. If you will be using pcAnywhere both ways, then both
computers need static IP addresses. There are ways of getting around
this with a dns service, but having the static IP is easier. If this is
a business, then the additional cost of the static IP is a business
expense.

2. Assign static private lan IP addresses on those computers instead of
doing DHCP with the router.

3. Configure port forwarding on the router. You will need to forward the
two ports pcAnywhere needs to the target computer. RTFM for the port
numbers.

4. Configure any software firewalls to allow traffic on those two ports.

5. Configure pcAnywhere properly with permitted users and passwords.
