Laptop or desktop?
Any error messages or does it just shut off without warning?
It may be overheating. If a laptop, ensure that the air intakes and outlets
are not being blocked. Always use it on a rigid, flat surface.
If a desktop, the internal fans may be clogged up with dust. Remove the side
cover and take a look. Dust will build up on the CPU fan and heatsink. take
a good look at this because dust trapped between the fan and heatsink is
less obvious than you may imagine. Another place to look is the intakes on
the power supply. Remove as much dust as you can from inside the case. If
you can, detach the front panel and remove all dust build up..
If it just shuts off and doesn't try to restart, this is an indication of
hardware failure, often caused by heat.
Unfortunately the easiest fix for this is often replacement; it can be
difficult to determine exactly what parts have failed, and it may be more
than one.
You need to start with just being sure your data is backed up, and from
there, it will require either professional service or replacement.
Why be such an ass. If the question baffles you, don't bother
replying. Others seemed to manage.
