Hi,

The other day I tried to open a video file using Windows media only to
receive the following error message:
"Your computer is running low on memory. Quit other problems and try again".

I get this message with only that video file. All other video files play
ok. I am running XP on 1GB DDR2 RAM. I can't see how I am low on memory.
Please advise on this and if possible whatI need to do to gain more memory if
need be.

thanks, Tim

If it happens again press ctrl-alt-delete and look at the "mem usage" column
on the "Processes" tab (you may need to add it first via "View > Select
Columns), you may spot an application using an unnecessarily large amount of
memory.

It may well be worth recalling that "Tim" <[email protected]>

The file is probably damaged.
