bigger attachment limit for attaching photos etc :)
The attachment limit for the gallery is increased now, as there is some spare bandwidth going on the dedicated server :)

Auto Server Back-up
There is a very high tech one in place at the moment :) Its backed up each night, and then a whole server backup each week. I download them to my own PC every few days for double redundancy too ;)

Really good progress is being made, so a Sunday launch looks like a go :)

I will keep you all informed as to what is happening!

Well, looks like todays launch is off, there are still a few more bugs to iron out. Very, very close to launch though :)

Still need to do a test "switch" over, so the new site will only take a few mins to swap ;)

Would members mind if gallery images had to be re-uploaded manually by the origional poster? I've tried moving them across, but its proving to be very difficult! I can't get the same poster name, even by editing the database manually as it appears in too many places.

I don't mind ... but then I don't think I've used it.

www.iancunningham.com - hehe! what do you normally use it for btw?
Nothing really, I just got it because it expired and I needed a domain for testing things on :)

I've saved all my pix from the gallery now, I can upload them again when new site is online.

Cheers :)

I'll keep this entire site running in a new url for a week or so till all the gallery images are transferred. I'm doing the articles manually now, and forum posts/avatars/arcade bits etc... are all automatic.

I do apologise for this delay ;)

There is a single PHP problem causing lots of hassle, serious enough to delay the launch of the site. It is a problem with the rendering of the article pages, but its something that is fixable once I figure it out!

This is the site pretty much done (apart from the bugs which are only fixed when moved to this domain, such as avatars not showing etc...) - http://www.iancunningham.com/index.php
