pc problem

i have an aspire tower i was given this but it has a password and my friend doesnt know it and it wont let me do anything it just starts up and i cant get passed the pass word part plz help x thanx for reading
 
Hi joanne 77 The first thing we would want to know is which operating system is on the PC eg Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 etc this will help. Do you have the OS installation disc's for the operating system or did the PC come without any discs if so ask your friend if they have them and could you have them
 
Hi Joanne 77 if you have a problem please keep it in the same thread as it becomes a little confusing. I have also answered your other thread asking if you were given any CD's with the PC and if so what were they.
