Not really ... is this a new guessing game?

You download something you thought was a codec

You aren't running any AntiVirus, well if you are it's crap

Now this 'program' has taken over and you're stuffed

... how am I doing ...

You now need to get rid of this, whatever, dunno 'cos you don't say what the pop-up are, or what, where who this codec was acquired.

not much to go on here, is there?

You downloaded a codec for Windows Media Player from a link on a site....

You have Norton Anti-Virus 'protecting' your PC....

You have some strange icons in your system tray....

You are getting pop-ups asking you to download some anti-spyware products to clean your system......


Any good????

Mat told you that ya would come across some dry humour didnt I ;)

Already sorted him out with K-lite/Ccleaner/Adaware and Avg to start him off with

Oh told him off aswell for posting problem in here LOL

I'm sure the saga will continue
