I s it possible to record a phone call taken through a pc ??

When you say a call taken through a PC, do you mean as in VOIP calls (skype etc...)? That should be easy enough:

If you mean using a normal telephone but recording via a PC, you can do this if you have a dialup modem (like the one you posted about just before)... but I'm not sure what sort of software you'd need. This software looks like it would though:

Where would it be illegal to record a phone call on your own phone?

All companies you phone now state 'Your call may be recorded for training purposes'

Training purposes my butt, what they should say is:

'You call will be recorded whether you like it or not so if there is a legal dispute we may have evidence to our advantage by recording your call to us. Which, incidentally, is on an 0845 number and is therefore costing you a small fortune chummy. Ner ner.'

I became suspicious and recorded my wife's phone calls.

Which is why we seperated back in 2002.

You can record any phone call as long as you tell the other party that you are doing so .
