PC mag said $50 for MS defender but?

PC mag was saying to be sure to buy MS windows defender, they don't respond
so I thought I'd ask here:

What are they talking about?? It seem that Windows defender is still in beta
2 and isn't for sale yet.

Windows Defender is free from Microsoft.
PC Mag needs a poker up the butt.
