PC locks up

After being online for 3 hours, running a few programs, my computer locks up I can not use mouse and need to cut power after trying to shut down running programs unsuccessfully. This has been happening since day one of getting the computer and going on line. There are no viruses on my computer

Try replacing your pc Power Supply that could be the problem
