Hello, my computer regularly freezes up and i need to restart the system,
this problem happens erratically and as far as i can tell there is no
continuity to it. Sometimes when i restart i get a checksum error defaults
loaded and i have to go into the bios to load the defaults before windows
will start up again...my bios also resets to to january 2003 and i need to
manually adjust the time. In the event viewer i get a win32 error saying
something about the NTP time client being out of synch. I recnetly had a new
motherboard and powerpack installed along with a new battery and fan but
nothing at all stops this problem...my hard drive was wiped also but that
didn't help either. I'm at my wits end with it...i've already spent a small
fortume trying to get this problem fixed. My worry is they've installed a
rubbish motherboard onto my pc and that is causing it but any help would be
greatly appreciated.
I'm using windows xp home edition with amd athlon 2600+
