PC freezing

I just formatted my drive, reloaded WinXP Pro with SP2 and everything is
working except when we turn on any screensaver the computer will freeze up
and all we can do is hit the reset button. I have turned off all the power
management and screensaver and it works fine. Also when I turned on my AVG
antivirus (which I used before with WinXP pro) the computer would just reboot
for no apparent reason, but since I shut that down it has not rebooted.
Anyone else have any simlar problems and solved it?

Were you having problems before you reinstalled XP? If so what were they?

The problem before was related to trying to setup dual video moniters and I
read that I needed SP2 before installing updated video drivers, but I did not
read that I needed another update before installing SP2, so it crashed my
whole system! That was when I decided to format the drive and do a completely
clean install.
