PC freezes 5 minutes upon start up. Restarted computer, tried to do systems
restore and froze during process. Now keeps freezing within seconds of
loading.

Please help me fix.

This sounds like a hardware problem. Is this a new machine - if so take it
back to where you purchased for a warranty repair.....

Hi,

Freezing is nearly always due to a hardware problem. Unless you made some
major changes to the software lately, this is the direction in which you
need to go. If you do not have the means of checking for bad components,
then you need to take it to a shop. At a guess, I would say the cpu is dying
or the motherboard is. Open the case, look around the processor for leaking
capacitors with small flashlight. If you see any, then it's time for a
replacement.

You can also check your memory using memtest86
