pc doesnt shut. it resets

thats it. i tell pc to shut down but it doesnt, it resets and then a window
pops up and says it has recovered from an error
anyone can help?

Look in the Event Viewer for hints about what file or driver is doing that
during shutdown
Click Start, and type:
eventvwr.msc
hit enter
you could also run:
perfmon /rel
click the 'x' s to see what is going wrong
