PC-DL integrated Intel NIC will not run at 100 Mbps full duplex

I am setting up a PC-DL system and can not get the integrated Intel NIC to
run at 100 Mbps full duplex. With the it set to auto negotiate it runs at 10
Mbps full duplex and if I set it to 100 the connection is lost. Also when I
run the cable test from the Intel Proset software it claimes the cable is
only 2 pair and not Cat 5e. I have tried 2 cables that are known to be good
and both give this error when tested. Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks

Any suggestions??

Yes I am using Win XP pro and all I did was enable it in the BIOS and
install the driver. It never caused my system to BSOD. Sorry I am not sure
what would cuase this on your system?

You say the cables are "known good"... where did you get them..?

Did you buy them, or make them..?

Improper cable pairs will allow an ethernet cable to operate properly
at 10Mb/sec but fail at 100Mb/sec.
