pc-cillin not asking permission for prog' net access

Interesting while reading comments from those who also use Pc=cillin
antivirus
and the programs Firewall - that it asks permission for whatever tries
to access
the internet - mine isnt! Only had it a couple of days- was
preinstalled
on my new system, and I'll need to check what the version is - I'v
looked
but no luck spotting anywhere to enable this to check anything trying
to
access the net - is there one?
My previous firewall - which I may yet reinstall - Sygate - always
asked permission for anything trying to access the Net - in or out -
so why isnt Pc-Cillin ? - apparently, going by other postings - it IS
supposed to.

Settings-Personal Firewall-Security Level set to High or Medium which will
allow the firewall to block or allow traffic based on Exceptions

Setting-Personal Firewall-Exceptions, where you set the ports and protocols
you want to allow or block
